Substituting teak with aluminum or adding sling fabric material is not our desire. Our Somerset deep seating designs point in another direction. Slim and sleek won’t be found in descriptions of our furniture. Instead you’ll read masterful, bold and rock solid. Everything in the design of our styles has been about making a statement with teak. We’ve added thickness to our teak patio furniture parts to give unheard of stability and strength. Beautiful and Classic – Aged Teak. The true character of teak is evident in its beautiful grain and its amazing durability. As it ages, if exposed to the weather, teak develops a silver gray patina. However, our furniture can still remain in service with this classic gray color. Applying teak protector slows this natural process. Once teak has grayed, return to the honey brown color using teak cleaner.
Our commitment to only source teak wood from certified, verifiable, legal plantations is the right thing to do.

Peaceful and comfy
These chairs are so beautiful. I’ve had them on my covered porch for about a week now and it is my new favorite place to hang out in the morning for coffee. They came disassembled but really – they were pretty easy to put together. A couple of hints: Someone else said this too, but I’d like to second it – don’t tighten anything down until you have all the pieces together. Then get your best buddy or neighbor to help you hold all the pieces together while tightening everything down. It precludes the need to have a stiff one to lower your stress level afterwards. While they are on a covered porch, the morning sun can be brutal on some mornings so I painted on a coat of linseed oil – and then cloth rubbed a second coat the next day just for good measure. Besides, the teak wood is so pretty I wanted to protect it.

Like the overall look
I like the overall look, it’s very good and size is perfect. Seat cover material is good quality Sunbrella. Teak is amazing great quality. The only tough part for me was assembly as I had to do it alone. Overall look is very nice.

This loveseat was absolutely one of the most comfortable I’ve bought in years. I bought two of them and I’m going to buy another two. Everyone that sits in them thinks that they are fabulous. And they have held up through the So. Cal summer with no difficulty. I have been more than pleased with these chairs.
