I have not previously been a fan of Adirondack chairs. Typically, they are too narrow and uncomfortable to sit in. This chair is different. It was quick and easy to assemble. It is solid and heavy. The wind isn’t going to bow this one over (short of a hurricane). It is made of polywood. It is rot proof and should stand up to the Florida sunshine pretty well.
It is wide enough to sit in comfortably. The sitting angle is also comfortable. The arms are sturdy enough to be used to push yourself up off the chair to rise up if you need to do so. I love it! It is my favorite outdoor chair.

Sturdy, comfortable, easy to assemble
The chair arrived in four pieces, with a single-page of simple, clear, instructions, and most of the necessary hardware. I added a 7/16″ socket wrench, but everything else was included. You will definitely want the wrench, because it’s extremely difficult to tighten the bolts otherwise. Total assembly time with two people was approximately ten minutes, and the end result was a solid “seaside casual” chair that is quite comfortable. One person could certainly assemble the chair, but it’s easier with a second person to help steady it.
If you’re not familiar with the synthetic materials used in chairs like this, they are long-lasting and highly weather-resistant. This is a standard chair of that type, with the surface having a slightly slick feel that is – in my experience – typical of the material.
Seating posture is more upright than some Adirondack chairs, but also felt better on my lower back. Both my large frame, and my wife’s petite one, were quite comfortable in it.
Overall this is an sturdy, comfortable chair that we were able to assemble and use almost immediately. Highly recommended.
