Based on the world-renowned design by the eminent Edwardian architect, Sir Edward Lutyens, the Sissinghurst Seat is perhaps the most distinctive piece of garden furniture offered by any manufacturer of garden furniture. The seat back and rear legs are inclined for comfort to the back, while the deep seat and 77″ length ensure adequate room for three adults. Handsome cross-supports provide the Sissinghurst added strength. As with all Barlow Tyrie pieces, the first grade plantation grown teak, perfectly sanded and chamfered, is a joy to touch. The original bench is located at England’s Sissinghurst Castle.

Beautiful and Classic – Aged Teak. The true character of teak is evident in its beautiful grain and its amazing durability. As it ages, if exposed to the weather, teak develops a silver gray patina. However, our furniture can still remain in service with this classic gray color. Applying teak protector slows this natural process. Once the teak has grayed, return to the honey brown color using teak cleaner.
